The Reckoning
Society lies in ruin. What began as a government attempt to control dissent in the outer sectors spirals out of control when a bioweapon unleashed to "contain unrest" mutates, turning the atmosphere toxic and leaving behind a hostile, near-uninhabitable wasteland. Against this unforgiving backdrop, brothers Samuel and Dustin cling to survival in their decimated rural hometown, where every scrap of food and shelter is fought over by desperate, ruthless scavengers.

As resources run dry and tensions rise, the brothers' bond is tested to its breaking point when a stranger arrives, shattering the fragile balance they've managed to hold onto. Forced to confront their beliefs, values, and the limits of their humanity, Samuel and Dustin must grapple with the meaning of mercy and the true cost of survival.
In a world where every decision can be fatal, the brothers’ struggle is as much about staying alive as it is about holding onto what little faith they have left—revealing the depths of loyalty, sacrifice, and the remnants of hope in a world stripped of both compassion and law.
The Reckoning is a haunting look at what remains when civilization collapses, and humanity is forced to redefine itself.
